Bonaire Flaxen Woven Wood Shades

I often get asked questions about our Bonaire Flaxen Woven Wood Shades and now that we’ve had them for a few years, I wanted to share how happy we’ve been with them.

Since we chose to have white walls, I felt like it would be important to bring in some warmth and texture with the shades. We wanted our home to feel cohesive, so we bought Bonaire Flaxen Shades for all the windows in both our master bedroom and our living room. Below is a close up view. They’re so beautiful and full of texture!

Since I wanted a more relaxed look, we kept the edges raw. We chose white blackout liners and we also decided to upgrade to cordless because I wanted a clean, uncluttered look. I’ve been so glad we splurged and went with cordless. They’re simple to raise and lower and they stay at whatever height we put them.

The blackout liners are excellent at blocking out both the city lights at night and the bright sunshine in the morning.
